IUE-CWA LOCAL 201 GE CONTRACT 2011 REPORTS

GE CONTRACT 2011- REPORT # 22

This morning (Monday, June 20) the IUE-CWA International put up an a brief summary of the "small table" agreement reached last night on geworkersunited.org.  Local 201 has now posted a link on our site to see the brief summary.

The IUE-CWA National Negotiating Committee's meeting today was postponed to 1;00PM. At that time the entire committee, including myself, shall see the agreement for the first time. We shall go through the settlement page by page this afternoon and this evening. I will be speaking to our entire full Local 201 Executive Policy Board tonight at 7:00PM via a Conference call.

The full IUE-CWA National Negotiating Committee will then take a recommendation vote sometime tomorrow here in NYC after having today and tonight to study the agreement

That recommendation will be sent to all IUE-CWA GE Conference Boiard delagates who are arriving in NYC tommorrow for a Conference Board vote on Wed. June 22. President Jeff Crosby, H&S Director Ted Comick,Steward Lenny Redican and myself shall cast the votes for Local 201 at that meeting.

At this time, I am making no official comment on the agreement to I see it in its entirety.
