GE  initiates the first phase of its Internal Training Program in Lynn:

Hourly After Hours Training

Shop Math, Basic Blueprint, Measurements, Quality and Shop Theory

Tuesday and Thursday 
Starts May 13, 2008
10 weeks
11:30 to 2:30 for 2^nd shift
3:30 to 6:30 for 1^st shift
3^rd shift will be allowed to participate in either time slot. 
Indicate preference on application.
Maximum class size is 20 students

This course is designed to give applicants a combination of training that can prepare them for upgrade consideration to classifications within the Lynn Facility.  First consideration will be given to those below the R17 rate and who do not possess the basic minimum qualification for upgrade to R17.  Slots will be filled by seniority.

In order to apply, complete the standard Upgrade Application form indicating “Position Desired” as  “After Hours Training”. Return these forms to the Employment Office, 1-45.  Completed applications must be received by May 5, 2008.
